The Lady Stallions Varsity soccer team hosted York in another conference showdown Friday night. It was an extremely physical match, with 3 yellow cards being shown against York’s Lady Cougars.

Freshman Ava Robitaille put South Pointe on the board, and the team went into halftime at 1-0. Senior Kailah Marshall, who was selected as Player of the Match, recorded a brace on the night, putting away two goals in the second half to bring the score to 3-0.

Senior goalkeeper, Caroline Reeves, recorded a clean sheet for the match, with a defensive team of senior Captain AC Carter, Lexie Bolton, Hannah Austin, and Avery Hart shutting down any scoring opportunities by the Lady Cougars.

In the closing minutes of the game, freshman Ava Robitaille was fouled in the box, and she converted the foul into the fourth goal of the night.

The Lady Stallions finished with a 4-0 win over their conference rivals.
